Pony Farm

Sometimes Trish is asked to house-sit at at a farm right outside of Worcester, and we go spend nights there, basking in the glory of nature and a cozy, very much lived-in home.  The house is awesome!  There are fireplaces all over the place, and it's stuffed with books, photographs, rugs, and big beds covered in down blankets.  Not to mention there are dogs running around and horses waiting to greet you out back :)

Bradbury's

Bradbury's is one of my favorite spots in Madison - a small little place in a triangular shaped room that serves outstanding coffee and crepes made with ingredients from local, organic farms.  The best cappuccino I've ever had was here, and as an example of their awesome food, that crepe above is stuffed with scrambled eggs, smoked trout, sea salt, sungold tomatoes, and goat cheese.  Yuuummmm.

Vermont

During one of the last days of camp my friend and I drove into Vermont.  Upstate NY is beautiful, but as soon as we crossed the state line everything was astoundingly gorgeous and peaceful.  Whichever way we turned our heads we saw picturesque farmland and landscapes, and drove through several cute towns.  I understand now why it's always talked about as a weekend getaway state!
