The other day I walked down the road into town and went to a little restaurant where I sat and ate breakfast by myself. I sipped coffee and read my book, and then relished a monstrous breakfast with some people-watching on the side. I've never actually gone to eat a complete meal alone...it was awesome - just me and the food totally focused on each other. Next experiment: solitary trip to the movie theater!
alone time is blissful. i watched that video irene posted. very good and cute too. that part about if you're okay with yourself, solitude is wonderful? something like that, anyway it's a thrilling realization. i can remember those first alone experiences. sigh. i think i'm due for more.

Hi Maureen! I did a meal alone at a restaurant a few months ago. I actually enjoyed it, too! My next venture is a movie by myself, too. "Great minds think alike." :) Your mom came today and played the piano for my grandpa in the hospital. He had a stroke and it won't be much longer now. That was so awesome of her! Take care!
